House of Amethyst Comet is a Zurich knitting atelier for adults who care about gauge, fiber content, and calm table etiquette.

Yarn walls are curated by weight and origin notes, not by trend noise. Ask for substitute suggestions when a colorway is gone.

Gauge

Swatch in pattern stitch, wash once, then measure. We help interpret the numbers.

Fiber

Wool, cotton, and blends behave differently on needles and in laundry—ask before substituting.

Finishing

Seams and wet blocking finish the garment you thought the last row finished.

Workshops cover cast-ons, finishing, and sweater geometry without rushing. Seats are limited so questions get answered.

Night navy walls and sand labels keep the room focused; the calligraphic brand word is the only flourish.

Cedar Lane is walkable from several tram stops. Bring a project bag; tea is complimentary during workshop blocks.

We ship yarn inside Switzerland on request; international carts are not part of the shop model.
